Christine is a holistic counselor and certified life coach. She integrates spirituality with current day research to create true healing to the spirit, mind and body, She creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you can feel safe to work on the issues that are holding you back from enjoying and living your life to the fullest. She is dedicated and has the experience to help you uncover your full potential.
She loves being a mother of two, hiking, learning, and traveling. She has been helping people manage their life challenges in private practice through professional counseling and life coaching for over 13 years.
Christine's credentials
Christine is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a Master’s degree of science in mental health counseling, graduating with presidential academic distinction. She is a board certified counselor with NBCC, the National Board for Certified Counselors. She has training in EMDR a highly effective trauma treatment. Christine is a also a trained professional life coach and received her a certification from the International Coaching Academy, and has a certification in Interactive Guided Imagery from UCLA’s Dr. David Bresler’s program in Santa Monica, CA. Imteractive guided imagery is a proven powerful technique used to create positive emotional and behavioral change. Christine’s counseling and coaching techniques focus on integrative strength-based approaches that are supported by current research.
Joel K. Buxton, LMFT
Joel believes that almost all the issues that people need to address come down to empowerment, and he will work with you to help you improve your level of empowerment so that you can face life with strength and confidence.
Joel’s credentials
Joel is a graduate of Brigham Young University and received his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. He studied under Dr. Ivan Nagy, one of the founders of marriage and family therapy. He has worked as a marriage and family therapist for over 21 years. He has worked on the Mental Health Crisis Team in Region 7 and was involved with the commitment process and was the state’s liaison with the Behavioral Health Center in Idaho Falls. He has been in private practice for the past 14 years. His specialties include marital and pre-marital issues, as well as divorce counseling.
